Meet Beauty of Bedford's Beauty Therapists
Beauty of Bedford was born in 2004, and expanded to its new location on The Broadway in 2009. We are proud to have been awarded Most Inspirational Dermalogica Salon of 2009, and value being involved in Bedford Town Centre's own 'Be Beautiful in Bedford' annual campaign. We are also valued members of the Industry Liasion Panel at Luton's Barnfield College and enjoy doing our bit for charity where we can; in 2009 Beauty of Bedford helped raise over £9000 for Italy's Aquila Earthquake Appeal, and in 2010 clients of Beauty of Bedford made a great contribution to Clarabut & Plumbes Easter Egg Challenge where Easter Eggs were collected and given to local children who normally wouldn't have received any.

After studying Business Management at university, Maria fell into a career in banking. With strong influence from her younger sister, Selina, Maria decided to wave goodbye to the world of finance to take a career change. She studied Beauty Therapy before going into business with Selina, and Beauty of Bedford was born in December 2004. Maria excels in Nouveau Contour eyelash extensions; she was the first lash technician in Bedfordshire, and now the most experienced. However, fully trained with every product house offered by Beauty of Bedford, you can be sure you are getting the best possible standard with any treatment she puts her hand to.- Selina — Beauty Therapist
Selina has always had a passion for beauty since very young, and after attending university she finally gave in to her natural talent to study Beauty Therapy. She loved working at Champneys Health Spa, but due to encouragement from her older sister Maria, she left to open her own salon - Beauty of Bedford! Ladies in Bedford have never looked so beautiful! Like Maria, Selina is an expert in all treatments she undertakes, fully trained in all areas of the Salon. As well as waxing, her specialities include Calgel Nails and Crystal Clear's Microdermabrasion.- Hannah — Beauty Therapist
Hannah has been with Beauty of Bedford since we moved to our new location in September 2009. She began as a part time receptionist while studying full time at college working towards her NVQ Level 2 in Hair & Beauty. It wasn't long before her enthusiasm to get started on treatments shone through; soon enough, Hannah completed her Nouveau Contour Lash Extensions course and became a Specialist Lash Technician alongside her full time studies. Now that Hannah is a fully qualified Beauty Therapist, she is a fully-fledged member of the team assisting Maria and Selina in all of the treatments offered at Beauty of Bedford.- Tay — Beauty Assistant
Tay has wanted to work for Beauty of Bedford since she was only 11 years old! Accompanying her mum to appointments from a young age, she has always shown an enthusiasm for beauty, and as soon as she was old enough, she became Beauty of Bedford's Saturday Assistant.
